Getting started with FastPixel

Welcome to the FastPixel starting guide. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of downloading and installing the FastPixel plugin.

Step 1: Download the plugin from our website

Begin by accessing our website here. Once on the website, press the red download button and save the file onto your computer.

Step 2: Install FastPixel

Navigate to the Plugins area of your WordPress website and click on Add New Plugin, then upload the downloaded file, and then click on the Install Now button.

Step 3: Activate the Plugin

After the installation is complete, click on the Activate the Plugin button.

Step 4: Access FastPixel Settings

Access the FastPixel settings from the left side menu of your WordPress Dashboard. The plugin is already configured at its best by default but you can always tweak the settings according to your preferences.

Don’t forget to press the Cache Now button for the pages that are showing “Stale” yet your pages and posts should show “Cached” automatically

Step 5: Test Your Site’s Speed

Once you’ve configured the settings, take advantage of the “Test Speed” feature on the FastPixel website. This will give you insights into the improved loading times and overall performance of your website.

Last Step: Make sure your webpage is cached before testing it

Sometimes is good to run a test on GPSI/GTMetrix a couple of times to make sure that all the assets were cached on the CDN and the results are at their best

With FastPixel now installed and configured, sit back and witness the remarkable difference in your website’s speed.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed FastPixel. By following these simple steps, you’ve empowered your site with a powerful caching solution that ensures rapid loading times and an enhanced user experience.
